The Kentucky 811 Board of Directors election is held each year to fill vacancies and expired terms. These elections present an opportunity for KY811 members to participate in a leadership role as a voting member of the Board of Directors*.
Nominations are now open for the 2026 election to fill seats in the following utility sectors: electric distribution, natural gas transmission, rural water, telecommunications and water/sewer. Nominations are due by Saturday, October 3, 2026.
Only employees of current Kentucky 811 member organizations are eligible for nomination. Nominations must be submitted by an individual who is authorized to nominate candidates on behalf of the member organization. Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by a representative of a KY811 member organization. Self-nominations require a letter of support from a supervisor to be considered.
