Kentucky 811 Accepting Board of Directors Nominations

Each year, a Kentucky 811 Board of Directors election is held at the Annual Membership Meeting to fill vacancies and expired terms. These elections present an opportunity for Kentucky 811 members to participate in a leadership role as a voting member of the Board of Directors.

This year’s Annual Membership Meeting will take place on October 22, 2025, at the KY 811 Safety Connection. If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, you may request an absentee ballot by emailing .

Nominations are now open for the 2025 election to fill seats in the following utility sectors: transmission pipelines, rural electric cooperatives, rural telecommunications, contractor/excavator, telecommunications and private/municipal.

Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by a representative of a KY 811 member organization. Self-nominations require a letter of support from a supervisor to be considered. Nominations are due at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025
