Each year, a Kentucky 811 Board of Directors election is held at the Annual Membership Meeting to fill vacancies and expired terms. These elections present an opportunity for Kentucky 811 members to participate in a leadership role as a voting member of the Board of Directors.
This year’s Annual Membership Meeting will take place on June 28, 2023, in conjunction with the 2023 Damage Prevention Summit.
In early February 2023, Kentucky 811 Executive Director Tim Vaughn and the One Call Concepts team toured around Kentucky for the 2023 Software Summits. Together, they hosted summits in six different cities, providing the opportunity to meet local excavators and member utilities face-to-face and introduce KY811’s new ticket submission and management software.

Join us to learn more about the newly available tools – including ITICnxt and the Locator Tickets portal – and become more efficient with your online ticket submission and management skills. Each two-hour session will begin with a large-group demonstration, followed by individual training where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the software and ask questions.

Earlier this year, we announced that we will be transitioning into a new partnership with One Call Concepts Inc. (OCC) for 811 notification services. These services include receiving, processing and transmitting underground utility locate requests.
Kentucky 811 is excited to introduce a new, state-of-the-art ticket submission software designed specifically for homeowners — ITIC Lite. ITIC Lite is free to use and makes requesting to have underground facilities marked easier than ever. Tickets can be submitted online 24/7.
Each Wednesday, One Call Concepts, Inc. (OCC) hosts two webinars that will introduce you to the cutting-edge software we officially rolled out on October 1, 2022. These webinars will teach you how to navigate and efficiently use the new software, as well as provide a chance to ask questions.
Kentucky 811 has entered into an agreement with One Call Concepts Inc., to provide the 811 before you dig contact center service that includes receiving, processing and transmitting underground utility locate requests in Kentucky. This service was previously performed by Underground Safety Alliance, which in conjunction with Indiana 811, has provided this service since 2005. Kentucky 811 is in the midst of restructuring the organization to better position it for the future. One Call Concepts uses a state-of-the-art software system that utilizes several cutting-edge technologies such as virtual white lining and a fully functional app for mobile devices. I’m convinced that this change will reduce underground utility damages and make Kentucky a safer place to work. The transition was completed on October 1, 2022.
